Welcome to NXP Semiconductors’ TDA5051A Power Line Modem product training module. This presentation will begin by introducing the TDA5051A Power Line Modem. It will then look at an application solution using power line isolation techniques; followed by a glimpse of NXP’s ASK (Amplitude Shift Key) redundancy software protocol. A lighting application example is shown, and then the TDA5051A stand-alone demo and the lighting control demo are previewed. The module will end with the presentation of information on NXP’s support tools which are provided to aid a customer’s application and development efforts using the TDA5051A.
