Introduced on the previous slide, Rohm’s digital light sensors have three resolution modes: High, Medium, and Low. High resolution mode has the highest resolution (1 lx increments), but takes the longest time to measure a light sample. This results in a higher accuracy light sample and superior optical noise rejection. Low resolution mode has the lowest resolution (32 lx increments) and takes the shortest time to measure a light sample. Medium mode is a good mix between resolution (4 lx increments) and measurement sample time.
