The BH1700 family has a built-in noise rejection feature that results in a very stable output. Shown here on the right is a graph that indicates the measurement value of Rohm’s digital light sensor for a Fluorescent light bulb. Fluorescent light can fluctuate up to +/-25% with a 50/60 Hz AC supply voltage, but Rohm’s digital light sensor output stays stable.
