ESD-Optimized RTD Temperature Sensors

Innovative Sensor Technology's platinum temperature sensors are frequently used in e-mobility applications, such as axial flow electric motors, temperature measurement of charging plugs, and fuel cell technology. Wherever friction or electrostatic induction occurs, ESD could be present, which can cause dysfunctionality or even complete sensor damage.

Quality problems may occur days, weeks, or even months after the sensor has been assembled in the system, resulting in complaints and costly repairs or replacements.

Innovative Sensor Technology's AG offers ESD-optimized temperature sensors for such an application, up to level 4 or beyond, according to the IEC/EC61000-4-2 standard. A robust ESD temperature sensor will significantly reduce the ESD-related risk of incorrect measurements or even complete sensor failures. As an additional feature, the PW sensor is available in a round ceramic housing.
